Details of Anesthesiology
In recent years, the role of the anesthesiologist has been transformed into that of a physician responsible for the entire perioperative period, able to define and modify risk in the patient with complex cardiovascular diseases.
The Dept. of Anesthesiology comprises an integral part of the multidisciplinary team of experts providing comprehensive care at the Labaid Cardiac Hospital. As a well-known tertiary referral center, Labaid Cardiac Hospital draws patients from throughout the country.
Our Mission is to provide superlative comprehensive anesthesia care throughout the peri-operative period, ensuring maximum patient safety and comfort. Our vigilant care does not start or stop with the often-challenging anesthesia management during the actual surgical procedure. Anesthesiology faculty also works with other experts to optimize the patient pre-operatively, as well as closely monitor the patient in the post-operative setting. Indeed, the Anesthesiology is responsible for overseeing the Intensive Care Units at LCH.
The team of anesthesiologists in Labaid Cardiac Hospital are discharging their duties very efficiently and are contributing to the enviable success in patient management.
