The Cardiology Department at Labaid Cardiac Hospital is a Centre of Excellence for the delivery of patient care and research activities. The unit offers a comprehensive clinical service for the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases.

The department’s primary mission is to deliver high quality cardiovascular care to inpatients as well as in the outpatient setting. Clinical laboratory tests and procedures are carried out through the most advanced mechinery, equipments and instrument to assist in accurate diagnosis and planning of treatment. It provides broad treatment options, including lifestyle modification recommendations, medications and procedures, and works closely with cardiovascular surgeons.
